You've Lost a Lot of Blood (BOOK REVIEW)
I am shocked to say the least? I am currently reading all of Eric LaRocca’s books to make a video on how concerned I am for this person’s wellbeing because these are disturbing as all hell
I keep thinking I don’t like their books but then when I think about it I am simply disturbed by the topic, the writing is actually very beautiful and tragic in a lot of ways but the content is messed up
I’m not for literature censorship- I don’t believe that disturbing content shouldn’t be in books because sometimes that’s how we work through stuff in our mind- rather than repressing that we can write it down into the nightmares we have so they can be let out
I think the low reviews on LaRocca’s books are unfair, in all honesty. I am disturbed and disgusted but that’s what I’m supposed to be, LaRocca succeeded at his goal to disturb us. They have written interesting pieces which I find do lack in the character aspects- but at the end of the day to call a disturbing book bad because it’s disturbing isn’t fair.
I think this book was good, it was a wild ride honestly and I think it did what it sent out to do, I’m giving it 3 stars because I had some trouble visualizing things and I didn’t love the characters but I think the scary aspects were really well done
Rating: 3/5
