The Love Hypothesis (BOOK REVIEW)

This book was absolutely adorable and I loved it. Honestly I wish it had been a little longer because I was so invested in the characters but it ended exactly how I wanted it to.
I feel like Olive and Adam are so different in so many ways but when it comes down to it they share the same values and cares about the world and their lives.
I also love how this book tackles the struggles of an academic, its rough out here and we're suffering. But this book really does take a moment to touch on deeper topics of trauma, consent, sexuality, being demisexual, anxiety, and sexual assault in the academic field
which are all hugely important topics that need to be discussed more
Olive is a hilarious main character who carries realistic dialogue, humor, and emotions to deliver a wonderful story from her perspective. She has a lot of really emotional moments where you can see she's struggling from past traumas and stresses that have pushed her from making real connections and she has a lot of pain that she never lets go of.
Adam is also very funny despite being an ass occasionally- and I love the way he completely changes his demeanor to being so relaxed and content whenever Olive is around. You can tell from the beginning that he really cares about her even though it seems he shouldn't have a reason too.
If you're looking for something light and fluffy with some intense SPICE closer to the end this is the book for you, I highly suggest it. It hit all my favourite tropes and took the time to make fun of romance tropes in the process which is awesome.
